Relinq is now available for iPhone on the App Store. Requires iOS 26 or later.
Convert a link on iPhone
- Open Share for a song or album in a supported music app or Safari.
- Choose Relinq. If it is not visible, use More in the share sheet to find and enable it.
- Choose an available destination. Relinq copies the converted link. Tap Share to send it to another app, or X to dismiss the result.
The first time you open Relinq, follow the introduction to choose your preferred music service or Choose each time. The optional Instant Crush practice uses preloaded results and does not appear in history. You can revisit the guide in Settings → How Relinq works.
Settings also lets you change your destination and music catalog region. If you saved a preference, the share extension uses it automatically when a match is available. Choices made in the share sheet apply to that conversion.
You can also open Relinq, paste or enter a URL in the Music link field, then tap Convert. Paste fills the field; Convert starts the conversion. Song details can appear while Relinq converts the link; their timing depends on what the sharing app provides and the music service's response.
Supported music and missing matches
Relinq supports public song and album links for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, SoundCloud, and Yandex Music when a matching item is available. Artist pages and user-created playlists are not supported. Some shortened links require a direct song or album link instead.
An internet connection is required. Catalogs vary by country and service. If your preferred destination has no match, choose one of the alternatives Relinq actually offers. Relinq converts links; it does not play or download music.
Relinq is 100% free
All features on Mac and iPhone are free. There is no trial allowance, license key, or subscription requirement. If an older version asks you to pay or restore a purchase before converting, update Relinq.
Optional support
On iPhone, tap Buy Me a Coffee on Home or in Settings, choose an amount, then confirm the one-time tip with Apple. Prices are localized for your App Store. Tips do not renew or unlock features, and you can keep using Relinq without tipping. If tip options cannot load, try again later; conversion access is unaffected.
If a tip is waiting for approval, Relinq keeps listening for Apple's response after the sheet closes. If the request was declined, use Request declined? Choose a tip again to return to the amount choices. That action does not itself start a new purchase.
On Mac, Buy Me a Coffee in the menu bar opens our optional support page.
Previous purchases and subscriptions
Our previous monthly and yearly subscriptions have been removed from sale and will not renew. Any period already paid for remains supported. To view a previous subscription, open Settings → App Store Subscriptions in Relinq, or the Subscriptions page in your Apple Account settings. Expiration or a refund does not remove access to the current free app.
Previous lifetime purchases do not renew. The updated app does not require Restore Purchases or Family Sharing to use its features. Original purchase records and terms remain relevant to older app versions, refunds, and support. Contact us if you need help with a historical purchase.
Clipboard permission
On iOS, automatic clipboard checks are optional and happen when Relinq opens. You can change this in Settings → Check clipboard on opening. iOS may ask for paste permission. Paste and the share sheet are available when automatic checks are off.
Relinq checks text locally for supported music URLs. Only the supported link is used for online matching or source metadata, not unrelated clipboard text. The privacy policy explains direct metadata requests to Spotify, Apple, YouTube and SoundCloud, artwork and short-link requests, local history, and purchase records.
Contact us
Settings → Send feedback opens an editable email draft with your app/build, iOS version and generic device model. You choose what to write and whether to send it.
Email support@metedata.com with your device model, OS and Relinq version, what you expected, and what happened. If useful, include a public music link and the destination you selected. You can redact screenshots before sending them. Never include an Apple Account password, API access token, refresh token, or full signed purchase data.
For help with a previous Mac purchase, use the same support address and identify that you are using the Mac app. For privacy requests, see Your Choices and Rights in the privacy policy.
