Relinq is a Metedata product.
By using Relinq for Mac or iPhone, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Free Personal Use
All features in the current Mac and iPhone apps are free for personal use. No license key, subscription, tip, or fixed lifetime conversion allowance is required. Update older versions of Relinq to use this free access.
Free access does not guarantee that Relinq, a particular operating-system version, a streaming platform, or a third-party matching service will remain available forever.
Optional Support
The Mac app offers a link to Buy Me a Coffee. The iPhone app offers optional, one-time consumable tips through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple displays the local amount before purchase and charges your Apple Account. Tips do not renew automatically or unlock features.
Each tip is a separate voluntary purchase. You can use Relinq without sending one. Buy Me a Coffee and Apple process support payments under their respective terms.
Previous Purchases
Earlier Mac licenses and iPhone subscriptions or lifetime purchases are not required by the current free apps. Their purchase records and original terms remain relevant to historical transactions, older app versions, refunds, and support. The transition to free access does not remove rights that applicable law or the original purchase terms provide.
Relinq's former monthly and yearly subscriptions have been removed from sale and will not renew. Existing subscribers retain service through the end of any period already paid for. You can view previous subscriptions using Settings → App Store Subscriptions in Relinq, or your Apple Account subscription settings. A cancelled, expired, or refunded historical purchase does not remove access to the current free app.
The iPhone app is licensed under Apple's Standard EULA. These service terms supplement it and do not replace it or limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Apple's terms govern App Store purchases and take precedence where they conflict with these terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Relinq only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it
- Redistribute or resell the software
- Use the software in any way that violates applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
- Share, sell, or transfer a license key or service access token to another person
- Use Relinq's service for automated bulk lookup, scraping, or resale
Third-Party Services
Relinq relies on Cloudflare for hosting and security, SongLink/Odesli for uncached music matching, Lemon Squeezy for historical Mac purchases and license administration, Buy Me a Coffee for optional Mac support, Apple for iPhone distribution and purchases, and the streaming platforms represented by converted links. Your use of SongLink/Odesli-backed matching is also subject to Odesli's Terms of Service. Purchases through Lemon Squeezy are also subject to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms.
We do not control third-party catalogs, APIs, policies, regional availability, activation systems, or uptime. A platform may remove or change a URL, a recording may be unavailable in a country, and an automated match may be incomplete or incorrect.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Relinq is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app or matching service will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every future operating system release, or that converted links will always be available or accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Relinq.
Refunds
Apple handles App Store refund requests under its rules. Request an eligible refund at reportaproblem.apple.com; a tip refund or a refund of an earlier purchase does not remove access to the current free app.
Historical Mac license purchases were made from Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes payments, applicable taxes, refunds, and payment disputes under its Buyer Terms, which state that refunds are discretionary and handled case by case. Relinq support may help with a request; contact support@metedata.com if you experience an issue with your purchase.
For older versions that use purchase-based access, a full refund terminates the associated lifetime entitlement, revokes its device access tokens, and blocks automatic restoration of that refunded order. A partial refund alone does not automatically revoke access. A license that Lemon Squeezy reports as inactive, disabled, or expired also disables the entitlement and revokes its tokens. If Lemon Squeezy later restores that license to active status, access requires a new successful validation; previously revoked tokens do not reactivate.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or revoke service access tied to fraud or a material breach of these terms. Ending access does not limit any rights that applicable law does not allow these terms to exclude.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date will appear below, and we will provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Continued use of Relinq after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
